But, the changes are being made from 2021, and by the middle of the year, you can bring your partner and kids who are dependent on you in New Zealand on Visitor Visa. And they can also live with you for the term of your work visa. Your partner can apply for Visitor Visa, but if they are also looking for a job opportunity in New Zealand, they need to apply for a work visa of their own capability.

If you have a dependent child, he/she can also apply for Visitor Visa. If they are in school, they can apply for Student Visa too. With this visa, they can get enrolled in any primary and secondary school as domestic students in New Zealand if you and your partner can support his/her study while they are in this country.
